Apollo 9 Loudspeakers represent a cutting-edge four-part system engineered to reproduce music at live performance levels, offering virtually no limitations on dynamic range, frequency response, or the scale of the soundstage, all while ensuring finesse, refinement, and ease of listening. 

The Apollo 9 system includes advanced extended-range AMT line array dipole towers paired with outboard open baffle woofer modules. These AMT line array towers can be strategically positioned to optimize soundstage and imaging, while the open baffle woofer modules can be placed to achieve optimal extended bass, smooth in-room response, and seamless integration with the high fidelity speakers.

Pristine high frequency reproduction, rich midrange, and dynamic articulate upper-bass reproduction are achieved through our proprietary AMT line array (*Patent Pending). Each of the nine AMT drivers per speaker tower features precision CNC machined side plates crafted from carefully selected steel, finished with a durable coating to protect against corrosion. We utilize custom neodymium magnets, each weighing just under one pound, for optimal performance. The diaphragms are meticulously hand pleated to meet high standards. The Arion Audio AMT drivers, integral to our high fidelity speakers, are designed and built in-house, ensuring exceptional sound quality, complemented by our innovative open baffle woofer.

Apollo 9 Loudspeakers, featuring an innovative AMT line array design, are engineered specifically for use with digital crossovers that include room correction. This combination ensures near-perfect system-room integration. The advanced DSP system, equipped with room correction capabilities, facilitates excellent in-room response in both amplitude and time domains at the listening position, achieving a desirable impulse response with high fidelity speakers. 

The impulse response of these loudspeakers provides insight into their ability to handle transients, delivering a clean and powerful impact. This performance is crucial for the speakers' effectiveness in terms of transients and imaging, as impulse responses carry essential localization cues. Additionally, the integration of an open baffle woofer enhances the overall listening experience. The advanced DSP system allows for hassle-free speaker-room integration, user adjustability to personal preferences, and convenient access to 29 total presets that can be selected on the fly.

Apollo loudspeakers are designed with active digital crossover management, providing enhanced control over the system’s performance while eliminating potential losses associated with passive crossover components. This design helps maintain both efficiency and performance, contributing to the near-perfect system-room integration that our high fidelity speakers offer. The Apollos, featuring an open baffle woofer, are high sensitivity and can handle a significant amount of power, allowing for a wide range of compatible power amplifiers. Additionally, the automatic gain matching feature balances the tower output with the woofer module output, ensuring seamless integration.

Apollo woofer modules feature an Open Baffle (OB) design that complements the AMT line array and integrates seamlessly with the extended-range towers. This design eliminates enclosure coloration, allowing for pure sound quality. By using separate open baffle woofers, users can strategically place them to optimize bass integration into the listening room, enhancing the performance of high fidelity speakers. Additionally, the woofer modules are designed to be stackable, allowing for flexibility in setup. The single pair of woofer modules that are included with the system provides a deep, flat bass response suitable for medium to large listening rooms. In larger spaces, multiple pairs can be stacked or arranged around the room to address acoustic challenges effectively. 

Each module houses twin 10” woofers with rigid flat composite aluminum honeycomb-fiberglass cones, ensuring linearity and high-impact performance. The balanced double-roll surround design maximizes stability and control while minimizing distortion. With dual heavy-gauge aluminum shorting rings for low inductance and a 6-layer voice coil, these modules deliver maximum available force, resulting in fast and impactful bass.
